Accepting New Client for Virtual and In-Person Appointments

You’ve been trying to make things better—but something still isn’t adding up.

Many of the clients I work with come to therapy feeling overwhelmed—whether by anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, or difficulties managing emotions. You might feel stuck in patterns that don’t make sense, frustrated that nothing you’ve tried has worked, or unsure of what’s really going on beneath the surface. In our work together, I help you make sense of those experiences, get to the root of the problem, and build practical, effective strategies so you can feel more grounded, capable, and like yourself again.

My approach to therapy is collaborative, flexible, and tailored to you. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all treatment—instead, we build a plan together based on your goals, your strengths, and where you’re at right now. I draw from evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and trauma-focused therapies such as Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). These approaches help you understand how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours are connected, develop skills to regulate intense emotions, shift unhelpful patterns, and respond to life in ways that feel more aligned with who you want to be. I often use metaphor and real-life examples to make these ideas feel relatable and easier to apply in your day-to-day life.

Clients often tell me that therapy with me feels different—that it feels like working with a real person who genuinely understands, not just a therapist. I bring warmth, curiosity, compassion, and humour into the room, because I believe that meaningful work doesn’t have to feel cold or clinical to be effective.

In addition to therapy, I offer comprehensive psychological and ADHD assessments for adults. For many people, gaining clarity about a diagnosis can be a turning point—especially if you’ve spent years trying different strategies without success or wondering why things feel harder than they “should.” Assessments can help identify what’s really going on and provide clear, personalized recommendations so that your next steps are informed and effective.

I work with adolescents and adults across a wide range of concerns, and I aim to create a space where you feel understood, supported, and able to move forward at your own pace.

Outside of my work, I recharge by spending time outdoors—whether that’s hiking, biking along Lake Erie, or simply being in nature. That sense of grounding and balance is something I also help my clients cultivate in their own lives, in ways that feel authentic and sustainable for them.

If this resonates with you, you’re welcome to book a free 20-minute consultation so we can connect and see if working together feels like the right fit.
