Therapy begins with getting to know you and exploring your concerns. Together with your clinician, you will establish goals and a plan for how to achieve these goals using effective interventions. Therapy is a partnership and your active involvement and feedback are crucial for making progress.
Therapy typically involves regular sessions, which could be weekly or biweekly, depending on your needs and goals. Consistency helps maintain momentum and make steady progress. It's important to remember that change takes time, and although some people may make progress quickly, others may require more time. If at any point you have any concerns about the process, it is important to address those with your clinician.
Adult Assessments
Currently, we offer adult ADHD and other psychodiagnostic evaluations.
-
We offer comprehensive adult ADHD assessments. Unfortunately, we do not currently provide ADHD assessments for youth.
-
We provide comprehensive psychological assessments to help establish accurate mental health diagnoses and make treatment recommendations
-
Our assessments begin with a thorough interview and exploration of the client's stated concern. From there, hand-selected tests are assembled to thoroughly investigate these concerns. Results are summarized in a report that is reviewed and provided to the client along with a diagnostic letter. Sometimes an assessment is completed in one long appointment, and other times it is broken into smaller, more frequent appointments across several weeks.
